Transcription Factor and MiRNA Regulatory Cascade in Human Disease provides the detailed cascade regulations of TF-miRNA in the context of human diseases, which enable the experimental biologist to understand the transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms in specific disease, and identify the potential therapeutic targets in the upstream of the cascades. Here, cascades are defined as directed acyclic paths with more than 2 nodes identified by BFS as cascades. The clusters were united cascades satisfying the following two restrictions. Firstly, the numbers of the elements in these cascades are same. Secondly, the different factors only exist in the beginning or the end of the cascades. TMREC database provides a user-friendly interface for convenient retrieval and visualization of TF-miRNA regulatory cascades and clusters in specific disease by TF, miRNA or disease name. In addition, full information in our database can be easily downloaded for systematic analysis.
